In addition, we have various friendly sections which will welcome you as applicable. These are -
Ladies Section -
Our Ladies Section has about 90 members with handicaps ranging from 10 to 36.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are designated as Ladies Days, and we generally have the course for most of the morning for our friendly or competition rounds.
We have a full programme of Ladies and mixed competitions, league and/or friendly matches against other clubs, and a variety of well attended social events.
Our Ladies generally stay for lunch and liquid refreshment - many chatting until well into the afternoon.
We have vacancies for, and would welcome new Lady members. Our Lady Captain Sue Jardine would love to show you around.
Junior Section -
Bearsted is an "EGU Golf Mark Accredited" (i.e. junior friendly) golf club, and we offer Junior Golf membership at very favourable rates.
We have a very friendly Junior Section of over 30 playing members from age 9 to age 17, with handicaps ranging from 11 up.
We organise junior lessons, and have a full programme of junior competitions, and league and/or friendly matches against juniors at other clubs.
We have vacancies for, and would give a warm welcome to, new Junior members.

Veterans Section -
Any existing or new male member aged 60 or over, or aged 55 and fully retired, is automatically entitled to membership of our Veterans Section.
Between 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, many veterans can be found gathering in the bar or by the first tee for a friendly but competitive round of golf, with like minded players.
Our Veterans Section has approximately 150 members, and has a full programme of competitions, league and/or friendly matches against other clubs, and a variety of well attended social events.
Our Veterans generally stay for lunch, liquid refreshment, and a chat.
We have vacancies for, and would welcome new members to our Veterans Section. If interested - please come and see our Veterans Captain Mike Ross.
